USANA Shake Recipes

Here are some recipes for variety in your daily shakes and smoothies. YUM! Try them and experiment on your own, too. You’ll please your taste buds as you nourish your body.

Tip: Add 1-2 tsp of OptOmega oil because it’s an easy way to ensure that you’re getting the two essential fatty acids that are especially important to cardiovascular health: alpha-linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) and linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid). See below.

If you’d like to add more protein to your shake/smoothie, and soy agrees with you, try adding a scoop of USANA SoyaMax.

If you’d like to add more fiber, add a scoop or two of USANA’s Peach Mango Fibergy or Almond Fibergy. The current recommendation for good health is to eat a minimum of 25 grams of fiber/day. I like to up it to 40-50 grams/day.

Note about OptOmega: USANA’s OptOmega is a certified organic oil blend of flax seed, sunflower seed, pumpkin seed, and extra-virgin olive oils, mixed tocopherols, tocotrienols, rosemary extract, and turmeric extract.
